Modern Collective membership works month-to-month because we believe your continued membership should be earned by results, not locked in by a contract you signed before you knew what the gym was about. Every tier includes monthly body-composition scans, access to our member progress dashboard, and a quarterly goal-setting session with a staff coach. The difference between tiers is how much hands-on coaching time you get each week — and how frequently your program is adjusted. Common Questions About Membership

Is there a sign-up fee or long-term contract?

No sign-up fee, no annual contract. All memberships run month-to-month and can be paused once per year for up to 30 days (useful for travel or injury). We send a cancellation confirmation within 24 hours if you ever decide to leave — no runaround.

What happens at the monthly body-composition scan?

We use a calibrated InBody 570 bioelectrical impedance scanner. The session takes about 15 minutes: a staff member reviews your previous scan, records the new measurements, flags any significant changes, and notes them in your dashboard. If you're on Performance or Elite, your coach will review the data before your next training session and adjust the program where needed.

Can I try the gym before committing to a membership?

Yes — we offer a free 7-day trial that includes open-gym access, two group classes, and a baseline body-composition scan. No credit card required to start the trial. At the end of the week, you can enroll in any tier or walk away, no pressure either way.

Are personal training sessions shared with other members?

Personal training sessions on Performance and Elite memberships are one-on-one with a certified coach — not semi-private. If you want semi-private sessions (two people, split cost), that's available as an add-on outside the standard membership tiers.

What if I want more personal training than my tier includes?

Additional sessions can be purchased at $65 per session across all tiers — discounted from our standard drop-in rate of $85. Members on Foundation who find themselves buying three or more extra sessions per month almost always save money by upgrading to Performance instead.
