We'd Rather Answer Your Questions Before You Commit

A lot of people spend months on the fence about joining a gym. Usually the hesitation isn't about motivation — it's about not knowing whether this specific place fits their specific situation. We're comfortable answering the detailed questions: what does the programming look like for someone returning after a knee surgery, how do coaches handle members with very different starting points in the same class, what does the parking situation look like on Fairmount Ave at 6 AM. If you're local to the Fairmount, Brewerytown, or Francisville neighborhoods, the easiest answer is to just stop by during open hours and take a 20-minute walk-through with whoever's at the desk. If you're commuting from farther out, send us a note first and we'll tell you honestly whether the schedule works for you.

Before You Visit — Quick Answers

Is there parking near the gym?

Street parking on Fairmount Ave and the surrounding blocks is generally available before 7:30 AM and after 7:00 PM. During peak morning hours (7:30–9:00 AM), the side streets off Corinthian Ave tend to have more availability. The gym does not have a private lot, but several members commute by bike — there's a secure rack inside.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

No. The facility provides all plates, dumbbells, kettlebells, resistance bands, and cardio equipment. Bring your own water bottle (the fill station is at the back of the floor) and your training shoes. We do ask that members use their own lock for the cubbies — combination locks are available for purchase at the front desk for $8.

How quickly can I get started after contacting you?

If you call or email during business hours, we'll schedule your orientation visit for within 48 hours. The baseline scan takes 15 minutes, the floor walkthrough another 15. If you decide to enroll the same day, your membership is active immediately and you can book a class before you leave the building.

“I emailed on a Thursday evening half-expecting an auto-reply. Got a real response from a coach within two hours that actually addressed my questions about training around a lower-back issue. That was before I'd paid a dollar. It told me a lot about what this gym is actually about.”
